Consulting Selling Style Approach

Is selling telling? Well maybe in some situations which comes full circle to my point. Consulting selling style approach. This style is fits with certain selling situations. For example, if you are selling security software to a company who needs their servers to be secured. You would have to be a consultant in a way, and steer the client to the best options for the security software systems which would best fit their company, and budget. This way you are basically playing the roles of both consultant and sales person. Once you ask the right questions, find out what they need, etc. You then fit them into the best option for the security software system and go on with the sale.

Consulting selling approach is a very effective selling style based on the situation and type of produce you are selling. Even if you do not use this style, it is important to note the style and even use some of the techniques used in this selling style approach. For example, asking question is extremely important in the sales process. Asking questions to find out what the client wants and or needs is crucial. This allows you to best approach the sale and fit the best products and or services into what they are looking for. Consulting selling style obviously have to ask questions and find out whats going on, in order to find the best solution and fit that solution into the business problem or issue.
